ABOUT US

 

Both my wife and I have been collecting and excavating civil war artifacts for the last 32 years.  We have found, not to our choosing however, it necessary to close our shop and museum due to illness.  We have also decided to sell all except for a few items that are dear to us.  The internet gives us an opportunity to sell many of the items that still remain from our collection, including hundreds of items that we excavated and collected. We're sorry to say that many of the excavated or collected items have already been sold.

In the 32 years, we never sold an item we excavated and should an item appear in red, we personally excavated it.  Our web site will enable us to continue buying and selling in the future. The items personally dug by my wife and I are admittedly higher than some of the relic market, but please keep in mind that each item has been dug personally by us and is guaranteed to be so. The location of each item is recorded. It is not our intention to give exactly an X-marks-the-spot, I’m still a digger. But to protect the privacy of the many kind individuals who permitted us to dig on their property is our primary objective. We will attempt to give you as much information as we deem necessary. Thousands of bullets have been excavated by the two of us (along with many other items) and will be put on sale in the future.

 

HOW TO PURCHASE

 

We urge you to telephone your orders between the hours of 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM EST except Sundays which we would appreciate your call after 1:00 PM .  Our phone number is 610-409-0296.  If we are not able to answer your call, please leave a message and we will return your call A.S.A.P. Please give your name and phone number slowly and clearly.  Its a good idea to have a second choice in mind should the item your interested in has been sold.

All Pennsylvania residents must add 6% sales tax

We ship via U.S.P.S. or UPS at the estimated actually cost

All orders are subject to availability.  Prices are also subject to change without notice

Personal checks are acceptable but must clear before all items are shipped

Bank checks and money orders will assure immediate delivery

We ship only within the United States

LAYAWAY POLICY

 

We will accept layaways over $250.00 with a 20% deposit, balance to be paid within 60 days, with no interest charged.  As soon as monies are paid in full, the item will be shipped within 2 to 3 days.  No substitutions and no returns.  All layaway payments are non-refundable should you decide to stop payment within the 60 day allotted time.  We can work with you on more expensive items.

 

OUR GUARANTEE

 

All of our relics are authentic and original civil war or possibly earlier.  We will accept without question any return that is received within five (5) days of reciept.  It must, however, remain in the exact condition as shipped to you and with no cleaning and alterations made to the item, such as cleaning brass or adding oil to leather etc.  We will refund your original purchased price, less shipping, or credit card charges.
